Hello,

I’m Laura, a Portland-based product designer working at the intersection of technology, systems, and storytelling.

I’ve spent the past 8 years designing across product, web, and AR, from complex platform tools to more experimental, immersive experiences. I’m drawn to work that pushes beyond conventional interfaces and explores how technology can create more intuitive and meaningful interactions.

I approach design as a way to connect people, systems, and ideas, shaping experiences that are both clear and thoughtfully crafted.

I see design as the structure that makes experiences possible, bringing clarity to complexity and creating connections that feel natural, not forced.

I’m especially interested in how design is evolving beyond screens, toward systems, behaviors, and outcomes, as emerging technologies reshape how people interact with products.

Some stuff I like

I’m drawn to exploring, whether that’s traveling somewhere new or wandering through familiar places with fresh eyes. I spend a lot of time hiking, camping, reading, and cooking, and I’m always looking for things that spark curiosity or shift perspective. I value time with people, learning from different perspectives and being with friends and family.
